This day-long immersion comes just before year's end, when we most need to cut through tensions and stressors, and focus on what we most value. This day of practice will help you to cultivate the Brahmaviharas - Kindness, Compassion, Joy, & Equanimity - and generate a field of resilience, inspiration, and generosity to carry you through the holidays and the new year.
The tensions of the holiday season can be fierce. Many people report feeling burdened by time or financial pressures, relationship issues, or emotional overwhelm. During this day-long immersion, we will explore how to soothe the mind and unhook from identification with the complexities of our strongest emotional burdens. We'll open up the possibility that the deepest Self abides in a field of loving-kindness big enough to hold it all.
Heralding Light & Loving Kindness will steady your mind and nervous system and give you an opportunity to extend compassion towards all aspects of your being.
OUR METHOD
Heralding Light & Loving Kindness will provide exercises to support you through whatever the holidays have in store, with methods for generating loving kindness that work even in messy circumstances. We'll explore questions such as:

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Sunday, December 5th ~ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm & 1:30pm - 4:00pm Pacific Time
Gather live on Zoom with Kelly and community.
We will spend time sitting in meditation. We'll open up the body with gentle movement and yoga. We'll consider the teachings on the Brahmaviharas, also known as the "divine abodes" or the "four immeasurables" or the "perfect virtues." We'll practice transformative writing exercises that can help us listen with compassion to distinct aspects of our own personality structure. We'll share a little, for those willing and inspired, and give voice to whatever tensions are arising. Kelly will offer ways that the dharma can support you in opening your perspective and softening the heart, as well as offering exercises that you can take with you into the rest of your season and life!
Ideally you will attend this event live. Please set aside the entire day to participate.
If you cannot attend live, a recording will be available for 30 days. Keep in mind that some of the richest segments of these events are interactive, community shares. Most of these segments will not be recorded.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
Kelly is the founder of DharmaBridge and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with an emphasis in Buddhism, Śaiva and Śakta Tantra, and Somatic Psychology. She is dedicated to the power of metta (loving-kindness), meditation, and creative practice as avenues for accessing reality, and thus, true transformation at the personal and collective level.
Kelly offers programs in meditation, mindfulness, creative practices, and compassionate self-inquiry. She offers practices to help people pierce through conditioning, open up to possibility, access authentic experiences of bold self-expression, heal splits inside themselves, and connect with the courage to create and accept change, both internally and collectively.
She draws inspiration from the Zen, Vipassana, Vajrayana, Śaiva, and Śakta teachings, as well as from the wildness of nature and the power of social change movements.
