A 3-Day Immersive Experience

In this extraordinary time, we gather in a new venue: AT HOME.

As always, retreat offers a concentrated focus on spiritual practice, the mystical process of inner revolution, and the chance to turn our faces to the light. This time, we're given the remarkable opportunity to transform within our own domestic environment.

“Retreating” IN PLACE, in our own homes, without the support of a beautiful retreat center or a monastic environment extends a profound invitation and a powerful challenge—one that few ever accept.

We will come together as sangha, in the presence of timeless dharma wisdom, to drop into meditation and deep listening, share what is on our minds and hearts, and absorb the healing energy for our contemplative practices.

We'll have guided practice periods of yoga, meditation, inquiry, and creative work, all interspersed with breaks, for which you will also receive mindfulness guidance and specific prompts. While you may not have the beautiful vistas of a retreat center as a backdrop for your practice, you will get to transform the “vista” on your whole life.

What will we cover during this retreat?

This weekend will support you in thinking deeply about the struggles of your new reality and finding peace with the NOW.

For example, we will look at issues like:

  • How will I schedule self-care and social time into my new life?
  • How will I settle my anxieties without just shoving them away?
  • How will I make sure that I take breaks from my work?
  • How will I deal with my resurgent addictive habits before they make mincemeat of me?
  • How will I remember the goodness of my partner when I am constantly getting triggered by them?

How is this different from other spiritual work?

Kelly's background in Zen and non-dual Shaiva Tantra informs how she supports people in attending to challenges while still abiding in the joy of present moment awareness.

In terms of the current “crisis,” we will come into relationship with our new reality as an opportunity to turn toward awakening. Exploring how we can be with our experience has a way of instilling a sense of curiosity and calm.

This non-dual approach includes the vexations of life in our practices, along with life's pleasures. Thus, we build our capacity for intimacy with the wholeness of experience. The question, "what is really true?" will carry us back to the freedom of the deepest Self over and over again.

Unlike other approaches, this allows us to see clearly and cherish all that comes.
